The International Workshop on Personalized Access to Cultural Heritage PATCH was present at two conferences in 2012:
- PATCH2012 @ UMAP2012: 20th conference on User Modeling, Adaptation, and Personalization, Montreal, Canada, July 16-20, 2012. Aiming at building a research agenda for personalization in cultural heritage where the abstract goal is to make the individual cultural heritage experience a link in a chain of a lifelong cultural heritage experience, where it is built on past experience, linked to daily life experience and provides the foundation for future experiences.
- PATCH2012 @ ACM Multimedia 2012 Conference, Nara, Japan, 29 Oct – 2 Nov 2012. The primary goal of this workshop is to gather researchers and practitioners from different fields, e.g., multimedia retrieval, user interaction, arts and heritage curation, interface design and user modeling, in order to showcase novel applications and discuss opportunities that grow from the connections between users and multimedia systems in the cultural heritage domain.
